    Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau Holds Monthly Thanksgiving Service

    The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau held its monthly Thanksgiving Service on Monday, April 28, 2025. The event took place at the Bureau’s Conference Hall. Staff and well-wishers gathered for a time of gratitude, reflection, and celebration.

    One major highlight was the recognition of staff born in April.

    Ms. Agness Oloye (Ps) gave an uplifting message titled “Be Thankful.” She read from Daniel 4:29 and James 4:6–10. She reminded everyone to give credit to God and not rely only on their own strength. She also stressed the power of humility, saying it leads to promotion and blessings.

    After the sermon, Ms. Oloye led prayers for the April celebrants. Then Mr. Josiah Onyesi raised a toast, thanking Jesus. The celebration continued with cake-cutting in honor of the celebrants.

    To mark the occasion, the Director General gave gifts to the April celebrants, Directors, Heads of Departments, staff, and guests.

    The event showed the Bureau’s strong commitment to gratitude, unity, and teamwork.

    Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau Holds Monthly Thanksgiving Service

    The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau held its monthly Thanksgiving Service for March on Wednesday, April 2nd, at the Bureau’s Conference Hall, bringing together staff and well-wishers for a time of gratitude, reflection, and celebration. A special highlight of the event was the recognition of staff members born in the month of March.

    The service featured an inspiring message delivered by Pastor Anthony Atotu on the theme “The Benefit of Prayer.” Drawing from Matthew 26:36-41, he emphasized the importance of prayer and the need to remain thankful in all circumstances. Following the sermon, Pastor Atotu led prayers for the celebrants, after which a symbolic toast was made, signifying grace. The celebration continued with the cutting of a cake to honor the occasion.

    In recognition of the moment, the Director General presented gifts to the celebrants, Directors, Heads of Departments, and other staff members, as well as well-wishers who attended the event. The Thanksgiving Service reaffirmed the Bureau’s commitment to fostering a culture of gratitude and unity among its workforce.
