The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau held its monthly Thanksgiving Service on Monday, 26th May 2025, at the Bureau’s Conference Hall. The gathering brought together staff and well-wishers for a time of reflection, gratitude, and celebration.
A special highlight of the event was the recognition of staff members born in the month of May.
Ms. Agness Oloye (Ps) delivered an inspiring sermon titled “Depending on God’s Blessing,” drawing her message from John 6:27 and Jeremiah 26:1. She encouraged attendees to trust in God rather than rely solely on personal strength. She also underscored the value of humility, describing it as a pathway to progress and divine favor.
After the message, Ms. Oloye led prayers for the May celebrants. This was followed by a heartfelt toast from Mr. Josiah Onyesi, who expressed deep gratitude to Jesus. The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony in honor of the celebrants.
To mark the occasion, the Director General presented gifts to the May celebrants, as well as to Directors, Heads of Departments, staff, and guests.
The event reflected the Bureau’s enduring commitment to gratitude, unity, and team spirit
