The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau held its monthly Thanksgiving Service on Monday, February 23, 2006

The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau held its monthly Thanksgiving Service on Monday, February 23, 2006, at the Bureau’s Conference Hall. The event was a time for gratitude, reflection, and celebration, with a special focus on honouring staff members born in February.

Pastor Agnes Oloye gave a positive message about the theme “God is too faithful.” He shared verses from the Bible, including 1 Corinthians 1:9, which says God is faithful in all He does; Mark 11:22, which says, “Have faith in God”; and Ephesians 3:20, which says God can do far more than we can imagine. He talked about our relationship with God, stressing that we should always trust God and not people. He also mentioned that people may let you down, but we can get guidance directly from God, not just from others, to become stronger. Pastor Agnes Oloye encouraged everyone to build a personal relationship with God. After the sermon, Pastor Agnes Oloye led prayers for those celebrating, and Mr. Timinepere Jame then proposed a toast. The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony.

To mark the occasion, Director Stella Raine gave gifts to the celebrants, Directors, Heads of Departments, staff, and all who attended. The Thanksgiving Service showed the Bureau’s commitment to creating a culture of appreciation and unity among its staff, strengthening the values of gratitude and togetherness within the organization.
