The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau hosted its monthly Thanksgiving Service

The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau hosted its monthly Thanksgiving Service on Monday, July 28th, 2005, at the Bureau’s Conference Hall, welcoming attendees for a time of gratitude, reflection, and celebration. A key feature of the event was the honoring of staff members born in July.

Pastor Henry Prenanagha delivered an uplifting message centered on the theme “Knowing God for Yourself.” Drawing from John 10:27-28, Matthew 7:21, and Daniel 11:32, he highlighted the significance of a personal relationship with God, emphasizing that He interacts with each of us individually, and we can receive guidance directly from Him, rather than depending solely on others, to build our strength. Pastor Henry Prenanagha everyone to cultivate a personal connection with God. Following the sermon, pastor Henry Prenanagha led prayers for the celebrants, and Mr. Atotu Anthony then proposed a ceremonial toast. The celebration continued with the cutting of a cake to mark the occasion.

To commemorate the event, the Director-General presented gifts to the celebrants, Directors, Heads of Departments, staff, and all well-wishers in attendance. The Thanksgiving Service reinforced the Bureau’s dedication to cultivating a culture of appreciation and unity among its staff, thereby strengthening the values of gratitude and togetherness within the organization.
