Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau Holds Monthly Thanksgiving Service

The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau held its monthly Thanksgiving service for the month of February, earlier today at the Conference Hall of the Bureau, bringing together staff and well-wishers for a time of gratitude and reflection. A special highlight of the event was the celebration of staff members born in the month of February.

The service featured an inspiring message delivered by Pastor Richard Afenfia on the theme “Accusation.” Drawing from Luke 11:53-54, John 14:30, and Matthew 7:3-4, he emphasized the importance of self-examination, reminding attendees that the devil is the accuser of the brethren and urging them to correct themselves before correcting others.

Pastor Afenfia led prayers for the celebrants, after which a symbolic toast was made, signifying grace. The occasion was further marked by the cutting of a celebratory cake. In recognition of the moment, the Director General presented gifts to the celebrants, Directors, Heads of Departments, and other staff members, alongside well-wishers who joined the event.

The Thanksgiving service remains a cherished tradition within the Bureau, fostering a culture of gratitude, unity, and spiritual growth among its members.
