The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau hosted its annual end-of-year thanksgiving service on December 17, 2025, a celebration filled with gratitude, recognition, and inspiration. The event featured thanksgiving prayers, awards presentations, and expressions of appreciation for the bureau’s fellowship pastor and coordinators.
Pastor Maxson Agagaowei delivered a sermon titled “Forget Not His Faithfulness and Tender Mercy,” drawing from Psalm 103:4, Ephesians 2:1-4, and Romans 8:1. These verses collectively underscored themes of divine love, mercy, and the enduring nature of God’s relationship with humanity.
Mr. Aaron Nicodemus Timiye, Director General of the Due Process Bureau, highlighted the service’s purpose: to thank God for His guidance and protection throughout the year. He also announced the winners of the bureau’s staff awards, designed to motivate employees and enhance workplace performance.
