Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau Holds Monthly Thanksgiving Service

The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau held its monthly Thanksgiving Service on Monday, April 28, 2025. The event took place at the Bureau’s Conference Hall. Staff and well-wishers gathered for a time of gratitude, reflection, and celebration.

One major highlight was the recognition of staff born in April.

Ms. Agness Oloye (Ps) gave an uplifting message titled “Be Thankful.” She read from Daniel 4:29 and James 4:6–10. She reminded everyone to give credit to God and not rely only on their own strength. She also stressed the power of humility, saying it leads to promotion and blessings.

After the sermon, Ms. Oloye led prayers for the April celebrants. Then Mr. Josiah Onyesi raised a toast, thanking Jesus. The celebration continued with cake-cutting in honor of the celebrants.

To mark the occasion, the Director General gave gifts to the April celebrants, Directors, Heads of Departments, staff, and guests.

The event showed the Bureau’s strong commitment to gratitude, unity, and teamwork.
